Privacy Policy
BlockSpins is a reading site. It has no accounts, forms, newsletter, analytics or advertising trackers, and it sets no cookies. It handles two kinds of personal data: what a web server records when a page is requested, and an e-mail you choose to send to limits@blockspins.io. The homepage also asks CoinGecko for the current Bitcoin price.

How each kind of data is handled
The only personal data BlockSpins (blockspins.io) handles itself is server logs and the e-mail you send.
Who is responsible
BlockSpins is the data controller of the personal data described here. You can contact us at limits@blockspins.io to exercise your rights to your personal data.
Server logs
Each time your browser requests a web page, your IP address, the time and date, the page your browser requested, the page you came from and your browser type are captured and stored by the web server. The web server stores the data to operate and secure the site and removes it at its discretion.
The legal basis for retaining the data is legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). BlockSpins cannot operate and secure its site without them. BlockSpins does not use the data to build a profile of you.
E-mail you send
Your message to limits@blockspins.io gives BlockSpins your e-mail address and what you wrote. BlockSpins uses them only to reply to you and retains them for up to 1 year, after which they are erased. The legal basis is legitimate interests (Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR) of replying to you.
The Bitcoin price on the homepage
The home page displays the latest Bitcoin price. In order to retrieve the price, your browser sends a request to CoinGecko (api.coingecko.com), which captures your IP address and other browser details, as any web server does. The request does not carry cookies or any other information about you. CoinGecko's privacy policy applies to this request.
Other pages on the site don't make this request, and instead use a static (dated) price. The legal basis for this request is legitimate interests in order to provide the most up to date price.
Links to casinos
Buttons on the site that lead to casino sites go through blockspins.io/go/. When you reach the casino site, their privacy policy and terms apply. The casino may also capture that you came from BlockSpins; the affiliate disclosure explains why.
Cookies and browser storage
BlockSpins does not store any data in your browser. Its one script loads BlockSpins's header, footer, and search list, runs the page's buttons, and, on the homepage, pulls the current Bitcoin price. There's no cookie banner as there's nothing to accept.
Children
BlockSpins is intended for 18+. It does not knowingly accept data from persons under 18.
Changes to this policy
If BlockSpins makes any other changes to the site that would cause data to be sent to a third-party, this policy names it and the date at the top changes. The terms of use apply to the rest of the site.
