What a bonus buy costs and how it works
For a fee, usually 50x to 400x your stake, you can immediately access the bonus round.
A bonus buy or feature buy allows you to pay to access a slot's bonus round, which is typically accessed by gathering scatters.
To access the bonus round in Gates of Olympus it costs a 100x base stake bet. At mBit's max stake of $240, it's a $24,000 buy.
Other games, like Wanted Dead or a Wild, allow you to buy more than one bonus round. The prices to access each round are 80x, 200x and 400x stake.

Is a bonus buy worth the cost?
On average it costs about what the spins it replaces cost. The difference is the swing.
One Gates of Olympus buy at €100
- €10,000one buy
- × 3.5%
- €350average cost
- =
- 100 spinsof €100, played at once
The 3.5% is the house edge at a 96.5% return. The buy's own figure can vary slightly by game and casino.
The average cost of a buy is about the same as the cost of playing the same amount in spins. The risk is increased drastically: €10,000 is put on the line for one bonus round and a quiet round can return far less than the purchase price. Ante bet slots explained covers the other way to pay more for a better chance at the bonus.
